Cookie-cutter websites suck. These are the worst type of websites out there. Don’t be fooled with the low-cost option for small business websites. These usually only make the seller rich! Most people don’t know they are scammed when they by a cookie cutter websites.

Truthfully you’re basically loosing all the uniqueness both artistically and with regards to any SEO qualities. Here are my Top 10 reasons why you should avoid these sites and put your money into a quality website:

  • The code is duplicated hundred, sometimes thousands of times. Goodbye unique content… I’ll bet you can even search for the code and find tons of similar pages out there.
  • The majority of cookie-cutter websites are usually not optimize to rank well with the search engines- they don’t care.
  • In most cases cookie-cutter websites static code is older and not as bleeding edge SEO compliant
  • Taking someone’s designs and slapping a logo on it isn’t creative.
  • Most of these cookie-cutter websites have a short lifespan and will not hold rank well for long.
  • Most cookie-cutter re-sellers are marketing sharks so beware of their sales pitch.
  • As time passes, Google and Yahoo will ban cookie-cutter websites, you want to be careful being part of it.
  • We’re advancing… and End Users are intelligent and web savvy enough to ignore cookie-cutter websites sites
  • Your webmaster fees will skyrocket if your site isn’t a CMS Content Management Solution – most cookie cutter sites aren’t that complex so you have to know HTML.
  • What customizable features do you have with your cookie-cutter website? Chances are you had NO say in the features needed. We’ll that’s what you get for going cheap.

And that my friends is all why cookie-cutter template websites suck. Let a professional web design company take care of things. If we’re missing something here let me know.
