I’ve been ask this quesiton lately and found a lot online regarding the subject. We all are familiar with the World Wide Web that was invented by Tim Berners Lee and Al Gore (smirk) but now with the advancements in warp technology we have been introduced to a brand new version, “Web 3.0″. People were not even fully acquainted with Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 and now it’s the new version also known as Semantic Web. Some people have the misconception that Web 2.0 and the Semantic Web is the same thing. Let’s clarify… Web 2.0 is the dynamic version of World Wide Web that facilitates people to share information online and incorporates several standards like RUBY, SOAP, XHTML and lots more. However, the main focus of simplifying Web 2.0 is that the new Semantic Web and the Web 2.0 have major differences.
