PEK Interactive, Inc (www.pekinteractive.com and www.pekjapan.jp) seeks an Online Graphic Design Intern to support our Creative Director. This position reports to the Creative Director and will work closely with the Creative Director and our Clients. You will fine-tune your graphic design skills with live websites and online advertising.

We are a small but rapidly growing company that offers custom online solutions to small businesses. The internship will be located in our office in Downtown San Diego with options to work remotely. flexible hours to accommodate your student schedule.

The intern will assist our staff in the following duties:

Using Photoshop or Illustrator you will be designing online advertising campaigns in the form of buttons/banners/still images/text boxes for our clients’ websites– sometimes in multiple languages.
You will be helping the development team integrate the new designs layouts.
Undertake special graphic design projects and assignments as needed.
Profile:

Online/print advertising experience a plus but not mandatory
A good “eye” for marketable graphic design. Heavy concentration on Layout Design required.
Organized and creative problem solver who can manage simultaneous
Polished written/verbal communication skills mandatory
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled at Art Institute.
Complete comfort with business software applications and the Internet
Proficiency with MS Office.
No prior work experience needed.
International students welcome.
Requirements:

Strong working experience with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
Able to create graphics and other multimedia documents
Able to organize and create presentations
Strong documentation, verbal, and written communication skills
